Tours provide a unique opportunity to merge the educational qualities of a talk or lecture with the dynamic connective qualities of a social event. DeTours has provided educational tours, guest lectures, and workshops for a range of clients . We customize tour programs that situate broad concepts and debates within specific spaces of the city. Guest Lectures
Alasdair holds a Masters Degree in Urban Studies and 15 years experience developing educational material for a range of clients. He has delivered guest lectures for Simon Fraser University, Langara College, Douglas College and in 2022 became the lecturer in residence for the Roads Scholar Program in Vancouver. Topics include social history, urban planning, and cultural heritage.
